*ONDO COUNCILORS SUSPEND HOUSE LEADER OVER ALLEGED GROSS MISCONDUCTS*

Odigbo Local Government councilors on Thursday indefinitely,suspended Hon Falolu Tomisin as Honourable Leader and immediately asked the Deputy Leader,Hon Akinduro Samuel to fill the vacant seat as acting Leader of the House.
The suspension of the honourable leader came shortly after the Chief Whip of the honourable house, representing Ebijaw Ward, Hon Matthew Ademola, read a statement jointly signed by all the councilors during the plenary held at the parliamentary House in Odigbo,following several misconducts allegation leveled against Hon. Tomisin Falolu.
While raising the motion on Hon Tomisin Falolu's suspension which was seconded by the parliamentary secretary and councilor representing Ayesan Ward,Hon Akingbade Ilesanmi, Hon Ademola bemoaned the administration of embattled leader of the house as characterized with gross misconducts.
Spokesperson to the eleven man panel of Odigbo Local Government lawmakers described Hon Tomisin Falolu leadership as tyrant, alleging him of division of property, self centeredness, misappropriation of fund, financial impropriety, Prevention of Transparency and Accountability, obstruction of legislative function as well as concealing of unlawful approval of local government budget and conduct Unbecoming of a leader which include smoking and drinking in public and during legislative businesses.
The house noted that the actions of the embattled House leader contravened the provision of section 5,7,9,16,20 and 21 of the Code of Conduct.
However,consequent upon the foregoing,the Chief Whip of the Honourable House, Hon Matthew Ademola, therefore passed a vote of no confidence in the leader and move a motion for Hon Tomisin Falolu's suspension in pursuant to section 5(2)(C) of the Local Government Law, Amendment,2007.
Nine out of eleven councilors of the local government, signed the impeachment document of Hon Tomisin Falolu.
