Yoruba Council President Visits Oba Ologunfayo, Harp On Unity Among All Yoruba Obas, Sets Agenda For Coronation.

Abegbede great towns all within Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, the home of new Lagos Economic hub: Lekki Free Zone to mention a few, coronation ceremony is slated for 5th March, 2023, 

Aare Barr Oladotun Hassan, the Global President of the Yoruba Council Worldwide; the apex umbrella body of all Yoruba indigenous groups in Yoruba Land and in Diaspora paid a courtesy visit to the ancient palace of Oba  Ogunfayo Iwerekun-Imaletealafia Kingdom in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State

 To Felicitates with the most renowned Royal Father on His Majesty's divine ascension to the referred throne of his ancestors,  as well as used the opportunity to discuss vital issues of mutual interests on the overall impact and development of Ogunfayo Kingdom in Yoruba Land and by extension Nigeria at large.






Aare Oladotun Hassan thanked His Majesty for the show of love, warm reception and honour granted and bestowed on him, 

While he used the opportunity to reiterate the essence of unity , peace and development in Yoruba Land, specifically on the urgency to establish the Yoruba Council of Obas and Chiefs Secretariat - Ijo Awon Oba(Ijoba) by all  all Yoruba indigenous State Governors: 

 Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Lagos, Kogi, Kwara, Edo and Delta must all come together as a matter of necessity to build common bond and unity (Isokan) in Yoruba Land.

He further said, this will galvanize robust synergy and ensure all encompassing unity and growth among our Obas and thier respective domains and towns, where issues of insecurity, youth restiveness;

 Army of unemployment, education, health, infrastructural developments, promotion of traditional and cultural affinity will be jointly addressed, while deliberation on the God given Agricultural and Economic potentials of Yoruba Land can be better harnessed for the benefits of all the good people of Yoruba Land and by extension Nigeria as a whole.

He went into memory lane on how he and late Ambassador Segun Olusola OFR shared common date of birth 18th March and vision to unite all Obas since the era of Late Ooni of Ife Oba Sijuade Olubuse 11 and Late Alaafin of Oyo Oba Layiwola Adeyemi 111, which was relaunched with the present Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11,  during the Yoruba Council Worldwide 2021 Omoluabi Day Festival held in Ile-Ife tagged: Isokan Yoruba.

Aare Oladotun Hassan used the opportunity to pray and campaign for the successful election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Presidential Election mandate on 25th Day of February, 2023.

Aare Oladotun appealed to all Nigerians irrespective of racial, political and religious difference to continue to collectively supports Asiwaju Bola Tinubu based on his renewed hope laudable vision 23' for a New Nigeria.

In his response, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Olarenwaju Adewunmi Idogun Larrys, Tunwase 1, The Ologunfayo of Ogunfayo, Iwerekun-Imaletealafia Kingdom and Environs, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos appreciated Aare Oladotun Hassan's unrivaled devotion and uncommon display of love for the development and unity of Yoruba Land and other positive roles played on various issues of national importance as the President of the Yoruba Council Worldwide- Igbimo Apapo Yoruba Lagbaye, umbrella body to the Yoruba Council of Youths, Students, Women, Omoluabi School Club and other affiliated Yoruba indigenous groups in Nigeria and globally.

Kabiyesi prayed for His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11, the Ooni of Ife, while commending his Peace Initiative and exponential growth of Yoruba Land and Nigeria.
