"The moral character moldings, love, peace and unity preached by the church are cardinal principles of true nation building" .
These are the words of Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa while representing Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON, at the Reopening and Rededication of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Akure branch on Friday.
At the well attended event, Aiyedatiwa commended SCOAN members the world over for their laudable efforts and commitment to reopening it's branch in Ondo State.
He said the importance of the church could not be over-emphasized in individual life and nation building.
Aiyedatiwa, while commissioning the church described it as "a giant stride of the Church under the leadership of Pastor Mrs. Evelyn Joshua with tremendous grace for the upliftment of the people of Ondo State in particular that will benefit more of God's blessings.
The people from the environment won't have to be traveling to Lagos for worship because the spirit of God is one and is here".
"With the new branch here, many lives will be turned around" , he said.
The Deputy Governor said the State Government is always grateful for the love and fellowship shared as a peaceful and united state.
He further prayed that the new church would be a place of hope, healing and transformations for all who enters it's doors .
In her own comments, the wife of the Founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Pastor Mrs Evelyn Joshua said the opening of the Akure branch was out of divine command to expand for the fulfillment of Christ's message on earth.
"We are doing this today by God's authority and permission of the Holy Spirit to meet the expanding needs of the ministry by spreading Christ's message and evangelism" .
