A wrong association can dull your spiritual perception 

Do not walk with the wrong people; they will influence you wrongly.

Things get passed over and passed on to another where there is close fellowship, 

You have heard people say that the husband and the wife often get to look like each other after years of marriage. 

You have also heard people say that you are not more than the average of the five closest people to you, 

Walk with a wise man and you will increase in wisdom, and if you move with a fool, you will increase in foolishness. 

Dullness with regard to spiritual perception can be contacted through association, 

If you walk with people who are not spiritually inclined or profane persons who take spiritual things lightly, or with those who are lazy spiritually and not agile at the things of God, you may end up becoming like them.

 

Associating with such people may end up dulling your heart. 

It may dull your inward witness, 

What kind of influence are you receiving from your closest associates?

Don't fool yourselves. Bad friends will destroy you.
