The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo is leaving no stone unturned to triple the votes recorded for the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections ahead of the March 11th Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections.
Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA recorded over 6,000 votes during the Presidential and National Assembly elections with APC having more than 70% of the total valid votes cast. In order to increase the voter turnout as well as votes of the APC.
Akogun Anomo today held marathon meetings with respective critical stakeholders from the LCDA, appreciating their efforts and soliciting their collaboration and efforts to deliver massive votes for the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly election.
The respective Stakeholders the Council Chairman met include:
▪️The Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Baale in Council
▪️Forum of Ikosi-Ejinrin Gazzetted Chiefs
▪️Community Development Committee Leaders
▪️Ward Chairmen
▪️Leadership of Non-indegenes from Temu Community
▪️Artisans
▪️Team Lagos
▪️Ikosi-Ejinrin Student Union
Each of the bodies pledged to double up effort towards high voter turnout and reassured the Executive Chairman of their commitment to deliver victory for the All Progressives Congress come Saturday 11th of March 2023.
Also present at the meetings were Otunba Nurudeen Yusuf; Vice Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu; Leader of the House, Hon. Hassan Mustapha and the other 5 Councillors; the SLG, Hon. Miniru Temitope as well as all members of the Executive Cabinet.
