Ahead of the 2024 governorship election in Ondo State, the O’datiwa O’dirorun Movement 2024, led by Prince Wellington Crown, has already commenced clandestine activities aimed at spreading fake stories about other major contenders.
The group, following its meeting, held at the Grand Capital Hotel in Akure, fashioned out plans and strategies to support the governorship ambition of its principal, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Part of their strategies is the use of social media platforms to propagate fake news against major contenders, including Jimoh Ibrahim and Wale Akinterinwa.
Members of the group were also urged to aggressively commence media campaign of calumny against the two personalities ahead of the APC primary election.
The leadership of the group, who expressed fears over the chance of Aiyedatiwa in the election, resolved to mobilize support for him by adpoting strategies, which inlude grassroots campaigns, community outreach programs, and engaging with key stakeholders.
