As Muslims in Ogun State and across Nigeria join the global Ummah in celebrating Eid Al-Adha, HRM OBA JOHN ADEWALE ALASHE OF ILASHE LAND has extended his heartfelt congratulations.
In his message, The traditional ruler expressed:
On the joyous occasion of Eid Al-Adha, I extend my warmest wishes to the Muslim community in Ogun State, Nigeria, and around the world. This sacred festival embodies the values of redemption, sacrifice, forgiveness, altruism, and love.
"I urge Muslims to embrace the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), which emphasize humility, gratitude, and generosity. The commemoration of Ibrahim sacrifice should inspire us to contribute selflessly to the development and prosperity of Ogun State and Nigeria. True sacrifice means dedicating our best efforts to our respective fields for the betterment of our society.
To the people of Ogun State and Nigeria, let us celebrate this holy festival with optimism and steadfast hope for a brighter future for our Gateway State and the nation.
