It is only Ooni of Ife that can address himself as Oodua because Ooni is our son. The title of Ooni of Ife is actually AROLE ODUDUWA OLOFIN ATETE. Olofin means God with clean skin and pure white. The synonyms of Olofin are Lofen, Alaghofen or Alaafin. So Alaafin does not mean the owner of the palace but an attribute of God which vid traceable to God's beautiful and neat skin. Agho means skin so Alaghofen means God with clean skin white as snow. Oduduwa Atètè Ekahladehan Ìzòduwà was born at Oke Ora in Ile Ife and sojourned in Ile Ibinu known as Benin today. Lamurudu Nimrod known as Owodo in Benin language had done everything possible to make Oduduwa to succeed him so the elderly ones planned to execute him so Oduduwa fled to near Mount Arafat where we have today Mecca, Medina, Umra, and Kaaba where he later returned to Ile Ife to become OONI ODUDUWA and not OONI OODUA. 

OODUA is our family inheritance which was coined from the word OLODUWA by removing letters L and W. This our ancestors did to save themselves from persecutions. So it our legitimate right to confer the title of OODUA on suitable candidates. So OLODUWA means God our Creator. Therefore, we have the legal right to sue anyone who called himself or herself OODUA without our approval. Any king or anyone who confers the title OODUA without our knowledge is a thief, usurper and an impersonator. We have watched with great dismay where one @Toyin Kolade has been parading herself as Iyalaje Oodua, this is an act of treasonable felony against the Almighty God ditto to one Olofin Adimula Oodua and one Olori Odo Afenifere Oodua. These people had been called to order but could not listen because they are mad and need immediate admission on psychiatric ward. We shall be taken legal action against them one by one.

The name and title Oodua belongs to us the dynasty of Oodua Atoworo worldwide the first man, ruler, farmer, hunter and builder of Ile Ife and other parts of the world that were predominantly occupied by evil forests, fountains, valleys, seas, oceans and mountains which our ancestors conquered for the use of mankind. We also wish to let you know that Oduduwa did not come from the east with any crown other than the one on his head as all the crown in Ile Ife belongs to HIRMS Oodua Atòwòrò our ancestor.
