Jimoh Ibrahim sparks constituents excitement, doles out N8m to cushion hardship

The beneficiaries from his Aseyori media group and the Ondo South Advancement and Welfare Consultative Association (OSAWA) group members who got N4 million each were all in jubilant mood as the billionaire business mogul announced the donation on each media platforms.
The beneficiaries also described Ibrahim’s philanthropic gesture as unwavering and top-notch whch was incomparable to others even before becoming a senator of the Federal Republic
Ibrahim, told his constituents that he would be away from the county from September to October saying his absence should not be felt and the reason he donated the money to them.
According to him, I am currently out of the country to represent the Senate at the ECOWAS and I will also be in Washington DC and will not be back until October.
“Our people are in need, so I will donate 50 percent of my travelling allowance to my media and OSAWA groups,” Ibrahim said
The senator who is also the Chairman, Senate Committee on Inter-Parliamentary Affairs is currently representing the country on Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) parliament in Togo
He would also be an official delegate to the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva, Switzerland on Oct. 13
He would also be representing the country at the Ancilliary Meeting with International Monetary Fund (IMF/ and the World Bank Group at Washington DC in United States of America from Oct. 21 to Oct. 28.
