As schools across Ondo State reopen their doors for a new academic year, Hon. Barr. Idowu Mafimisebi, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency, has extended his heartfelt best wishes to students, parents, and teachers, describing education as the single most critical catalyst for the development of the coastal constituency.
In his back-to-school address, the legal practitioner and political leader emphasized that every child in Ilaje and Ese-Odo deserves access to quality, safe, and accessible education regardless of their socio-economic background.
Education remains the ultimate equalizer and the bedrock upon which the future of our constituency will be built
Barr. Mafimisebi stated. "As our young minds return to their classrooms, I want to encourage them to embrace this new session with determination, discipline, and a thirst for knowledge.
The future of Ilaje/Ese-Odo belongs to those who prepare for it today.
Reaffirming Commitment to Educational Growth
Addressing the economic realities facing families, the PDP candidate praised parents and guardians for their sacrifices in ensuring their children return to school despite challenging economic times.
He assured the constituents that, if elected to the House of Representatives, prioritizing educational infrastructure, skill acquisition programs, and student welfare initiatives will form the core of his legislative agenda.
Barr. Mafimisebi also paid tribute to educators across the riverine communities, acknowledging the unique challenges teachers face in coastal terrains.
He commended their dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders, doctors, engineers, and public servants.
A Call for Unity and Academic Excellence
The back-to-school message concluded with an inspiring charge to the youth to remain focused on their studies and stay away from social vices that could derail their potential.
"To our vibrant students: work hard, dream big, and make your parents and communities proud. To our hardworking teachers and resilient parents: may your labor yield fruitful results.
I wish everyone across Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Governments a successful, safe, and impactful academic session," Mafimisebi added.
