Indigenes of Ado-Odo Kingdom living in the diaspora have called for peace, unity, and mutual understanding among the people of the community, urging residents, traditional leaders, stakeholders, and other concerned individuals to embrace dialogue and peaceful coexistence for the continued development of the kingdom.

The indigenes emphasized that peace remains a vital foundation for community development, cultural preservation, and the promotion of unity among the people. They urged all sons and daughters of Ado-Odo, both at home and abroad, to put aside differences, avoid actions capable of creating division, and work together in the collective interest of the community.

According to the call for peace, the progress of Ado-Odo depends on the willingness of its people to respect one another, resolve disagreements through peaceful dialogue, and protect the cultural heritage and traditional values that unite them.

The indigenes further appealed to community leaders, youths, elders, and other stakeholders to preach peace among the people and discourage the spread of hostility, rumours, and inflammatory statements that could threaten the existing relationships within the kingdom.

They noted that disagreements are part of human society but should never be allowed to destroy the unity, dignity, and peaceful atmosphere of the community. Instead, all parties should embrace reconciliation, mutual respect, and constructive engagement.

The people of Ado-Odo in the diaspora also encouraged the younger generation to become ambassadors of peace by promoting respect for elders, preserving the community's cultural identity, and contributing positively to the future of the kingdom.

They stressed that the responsibility of maintaining peace rests on every indigene, regardless of social status, political affiliation, religious belief, or place of residence.

A CALL FOR COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY

The indigenes called on all stakeholders to place the overall interest of Ado-Odo above personal disagreements and individual interests, stressing that a peaceful community creates an enabling environment for investment, development, and the well-being of present and future generations.

They urged everyone to speak with wisdom, act with restraint, and pursue solutions that will strengthen unity rather than deepen divisions.

In conclusion, the Ado-Odo indigenes in the diaspora reaffirmed the importance of peace as a shared responsibility and called on all sons and daughters of the kingdom to unite in promoting harmony, understanding, and sustainable development.

Their message is clear: Peace in Ado-Odo is the responsibility of everyone.

Let us embrace dialogue, promote unity, and work together for a stronger, peaceful, and prosperous community.
